Minvilla Manor, Volunteer Ministry Center’s long-awaited 57-unit permanent supportive housing development at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Broadway, is now open. WBIR has this story.
“The condition of where the building was to where it is today is symbolic of where the plan ends,” said 10 Year Plan Director Jon Lawler. “We started in the beginning and everyone thought, ‘How could this ever come together?’ And it is coming together.”
The News Sentinel anticipates publishing a feature-length piece in tomorrow’s paper.
Minvilla’s official ribbon cutting happens tomorrow, October 30, at 11am.
